Boson Higgs, Science Detective
A Series of Original Audio Dramas
Characters created by Nick Martorelli
INFO:
Boson Higgs is a scientist. He is also a detective. And he brings his scientific knowledge to solving crimes. Not knowledge like fingerprints, DNA, forensics, or footprint analysis, though. Scientific knowledge like temporal displacements, quantum mechanics, string theory, and the Drake equation. Luckily for him (and us), his partner Brianna Green helps him investigate, translates his scientific mumbo and/or jumbo, and remind him that he needs to get paid. But together, they always solve the case through science... while over-complicating the case through science.
Episodes of Boson Higgs, Science Detective combine film noir mystery with Mr. Wizard science shenanigans to deliver comedy and crime (and science!) rolled into one. Each episode
Boson Higgs and Brianna Green have appeared in three episodes to date, and information about all three shows can be found on this project page.

The Peer-Reviewed Journals of Boson Higgs, Science Detective
Performed live as a part of Fringe Wilmington 2010. Sept 29-Oct 2, 2010.
When
valuable documents are discovered missing from an impenetrable
location, it seems an impossible theft. Luckily for the baffled
Detective Jordan, Boson Higgs, the Science Detective, specializes in
the impossible (at least, that's what it says on his business card.)
Aided by his partner Brianna Green, Higgs must use his scientific
genius (and her common sense) to unravel the strands of the puzzle and
solve the case.
The Peer-Reviewed Journals of Boson Higgs, Science Detective
combines classic film noir mystery with Mr. Wizard science schenanigans
to deliver comedy and crime (and science!) rolled into one. A versatile
cast performs the audio drama, enhanced by live sound effects and an
original musical score. The production includes another short comedy,
recalling the Hollywood tradition of the cartoon before the feature.
